Post Partum unit (PP Unit)
All patients requiring post partum care including Family Planning services a comes to Post Partum Unit. Staff Pattern includes Junior Health Inspector, Junior Public Health Nurse, ASHA Workers and RBSK Nurse
Services provided by the unit are:
- Immunizations are conducted on every Wednesdays & Saturdays (9am-1pm)
- Antenatal Care
- Counselling
- Distribution of Iron ,Folic Acid, Calcium supplements to pregnant women
- Free Family Planning Services
- Laparoscopic Surgery for women
- No Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) for men
- Copper-T insertion
- Contraceptive Injections
- Contraceptive pills
- Control of Communicable Diseases by field visits, source reduction and awareness classes.
- Coordination for issuing of Health Card to Food handlers after performing necessary evaluations and investigations by medical officer, Typhoid Vaccination etc.
Mission Indradhanush 5.0 Campaign
Aim is to ensure that children aged between 0-5 years and pregnant women do not miss out on any vaccinations. During the campaign, vaccination against 12 vaccine-preventable diseases will be provided.
