1. ART centre

Antiretroviral therapy (ART) is a treatment of people infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) using anti-HIV drugs. The standard treatment consists of a combination of drugs (often called “highly active antiretroviral therapy” or HAART) that suppress HIV replication. Anti Retroviral Therapy Centre (ART Centre) is functioning in General Hospital, Ernakulam under Kerala State AIDS Control Society since December 2009.

We provide ,

  •  
  • CD4 testing and viral Load testing is being conducted regularly to the PLHIVs.
  • We are also conducting regular Pap smear test for the PLHIVs.
  • We are conducting awareness class on HIV/AIDS to Palliative care trainees, at schools and Colleges.
  • Apart from regular treatment we have been able to provide HPV Vaccination free of cost to young female patients to prevent Cancer Cervix with the fund raised through sponsorship
  • Counselling and Pharmacy facility for HIV Patients

 

2. Jyothis

Integrated Counseling & Testing Center (ICTC) is a place which provides a window for rendering information about HIV prevention, Counsels them to undergo testing, and provides testing facilities and also links HIV positive people with treatment, care and support system

HIV counselling and testing services were started in India in the year 1997. There are now more than 4000 Integrated Counselling and Testing Centres (ICTCs), which are mainly located in government hospitals.All HCTS facilities should ensure adherence to 5 Cs – Consent, Confidentiality, Counselling, Correct test results and connection.

 

3. Pulari

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection/Reproductive Tract Infection (STI/RTI) Control Programme in Kerala.
  • STD and RTI Clinic Outpatient Department – Clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment
  • Testing and Counselling centre
  • Pharmacy for STD patients

  • Contact tracing camps

4.  National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP)

The programme earlier known as the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP), is the Public Health initiative of the Government of India that organizes its anti-Tuberculosis efforts. It functions as a flagship component of the National Health Mission (NHM) and provides technical and managerial leadership to anti-tuberculosis activities in the country

7. District Early Intervention center (DEIC)

It is a systematic approach to early identification of 4Ds, Defects at birth, Diseases, Deficiencies and Developmental delays to prevent or limit Disabilities in children 0 to 18. Rashtriya Bal SwasthyaKaryakram is an innovative scheme to provide expert screening, early treatment and care for 30 common health problems in children below 18 years of age. Comprehensive Child Health screening and management as a public health approach assures a package of health services for all children from birth to 18 years of age under this programme.
