  1. SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Tribe)

For those who come with necessary reports and related documents, treatments and ambulance service are provided at free of cost.

  1. Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY)

For Pregnant women admitted in the hospital. (Urban BPL – 600 Rs,   Rural BPL, SC & ST – 700 Rs.). Payward facility will not be available for patients coming under JSY scheme

  1. Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram (JSSK)

Treatment charges are free of cost for a woman from Pregnant stage up to 41 days after delivery and until the infant is 1 year of age.

  1. Mathruyanam

Mathruyanam application is an emergency transportation model dedicated exclusively to transporting mother’s giving birth in Government hospital. ’Mathruyanam’ scheme, facilitating cost-free transportation for mothers and newborns.

  1. Arogya Kiranam(AK)

Treatment is free of charge for all children up to the age of 18 subject to the verification of  ration card.

  1. Rashtriya Balswasthyakaryakram (RBSK)

Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) is a program to improve the overall quality of life of children and provide comprehensive care to all the children in the community. This program involves screening of children from birth to 18 years of age for four Ds- Defects at birth, Diseases, Deficiencies and Development delays, spanning 32 common health conditions for early detection and free treatment and management, including surgeries at tertiary level. Children diagnosed with identified health conditions are provided early intervention services and follow-up care at the district level.

      Insurance Schemes

  1. Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP)

Health care scheme which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization

  1. Karunya Benevolent Fund (KBF)

For Cancer, Haemophilia, Kidney disease, Cardiac patients, Bed ridden patients providing a lifelong health coverage of Rs. 2 lakhs. The patients not coming under KASP can avail Karunya Benevolent Scheme subject to the condition that the same can be provided to patients having income below 3 lakhs

  1. Medisep (Medical Insurance for State Employees and Pensioners)

The scheme was enforced in the state of Kerala on January 1, 2022, and has been serving its beneficiaries since. All state workers, including those who have retired from government service, are encouraged to participate in the mediclaim program. Those individuals who are not enlisted in the policy or have not provided details of their respective beneficiaries (family members) are also allowed under the scheme to make appropriate amendments.
